CCBIO Annual Symposium

Event Details

Center for cancer Biomarkers (CCBIO) invites the cancer community to the 6th CCBIO Symposium. A great opportunity for international networking within the field of cancer research.

The symposium will be a combination of talks by invited international  such as Richard Hynes, Bruce Zetter, Sui Huang and Ian Mills, and other senior and junior researchers, extended poster sessions where younger researchers can present their work, and ample time for interaction between participants. Poster presentations will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts.

The symposium is open for all.

Have a look at the program here.

The registration deadline is April 20th.

We strongly recommend registration as soon as possible to ensure lodging, if you haven’t registered already. The  registration fee is 2000 NOK/240 Euro per person. In order to enable CCBIO to accommodate 200 participants in the 138 rooms available, they are dependent upon as many as possible sharing rooms (up to four).  Indicate on your registration if that is possible for you, and who you have agreed share room with, or send an e-mail.

Register here within April 20th 2018.

Also note the satellite symposium on Liquid Biopsies, which will take place the day before, May 22nd, also at Solstrand. This will include presentations on Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs), circulating nucleic acids (DNA, miRNA) and microvesicles, with emphasis both on clinical applications and the biology of metastasis.
