According to your website, the advantage of OCC is precisely the network of contacts from student via research to company.
My academic interests tend towards life sciences, but what I have appreciated most during my studies has been the practical part. Here I have learned to work in a structured and methodical manner.
Why I am applying to you specifically is because I have become very interested in genetics and cancer treatment. OCC’s distinguished track record in the development of new cancer treatments using various biotechnological solutions makes it natural for anyone with my interests to seek summer internship with you. To get the opportunity to work with you through a summer internship would be highly interesting and inspiring.
Besides my studies, my personal interests are dance, film, friends, and travel. I was in Nicaragua for a semester to immerse myself in Spanish and Latin American studies. Besides Norwegian, I am fluent in English and Swedish, and am relatively good at Spanish.
I have added my CV. It is in English from when I was going to work as an intern at the University of Massachusetts medical school, under Professor Egil Lien who also holds a position at NTNU. Sadly, this opportunity never materialized due to Covid-19.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
