Discussing health care at Cancer Crosslinks 2019

Building strong international networks to stimulate collaboration, partnerships and thereby innovation is a key strategic goal for Oslo Cancer Cluster.

We successfully work in cluster to cluster collaborations to gain critical mass, enhance visibility and create “networks of networks” to support the partnering activities. Together with our members we are building an international network of key opinion leaders in oncology.

 

ACTIVITIES

International Cancer Cluster Showcase

International Cancer Cluster Showcase (ICCS) has been organized since 2012 as a satellite event to the BIO International Convention in the US. It is a joint initiative with partners from Europe and North America. The still growing ICCS team comprises the Canadian Centre québécois de valorisation des biotechnologies, Québec (CQVB), the Cambridge-based Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center, the Chicago Cancer Cluster (incl. the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University, University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University of Illinois Cancer Center), the “UK golden triangle” with Cancer Research UK and Cancer Research Technology, the French Cancer-Bio-Santé Cluster and Oslo Cancer Cluster.

Nordic Life Science Days

Nordic Life Science Days is the largest Nordic partnering conference for the global life science industry. Bringing together the best talents in life science, offering amazing networking and partnering opportunities, providing inputs and content on the most recent trends. Nordic Life Science Days attracts leading decision makers from the life science sector, not only from biotech, pharma and medtech, but also from finances, research, policy and regulatory authorities. Oslo Cancer Cluster is proud the be the oncology partner of  Nordic Life Science Days  – and to have been an active contributor to the previous editions of the conference.

International representation

The Oslo Cancer Cluster Managment Team actively and targeted represent the cluster and its oncology pipeline at international partnering meetings such as BIO International Convention, BIO-Europe Anglo Nordic, CIMT and others.

Tailored scouting in Norway

For international biopharmaceutical companies and investors interested in exploiting partnering and investment opportunities, the Oslo Cancer Cluster Managment team may organize tailored scouting and partnering meetings with preselected academic and biotech members.

Cancer Crosslinks to Sweden

Oslo Cancer Cluster has successfully exported its Cancer Crosslinks concept to Sweden where the 1st Swedish Cancer Crosslinks was launched in October 2012 by our partners from Create Health with support of Invest in Skåne, and Medicon Valley Alliance.
