The Norwegian Embassy in Bern together with INNOSIAMO is cordially inviting you to be part of a Norwegian healthcare industry delegation for an exclusive 1-day dive into the vibrant Swiss life sciences and healthcare innovation ecosystem in Zurich on Wednesday 12 March 2024, the day before this year’s Swiss Nordic Bio.

The following exciting program has been planned for the visiting Norwegian delegation:

  • Meetup 9 – 9:10 AM: Zurich HB, main station
  • 9:30 AM – 12 PM: Visit to Bio-Technopark Schlieren, hosted by InSphero, empowering researchers with 3D in vitro models to fuel a new era of breakthrough therapies
  • An opportunity to meet with bridgebuilders towards research collaborators, commercial partners and investors in Zurich greater region and beyond
  • Hear the inspiring journey of InSphero: Spun out from ETHZ, now a successful growing life sciences company serving an international market
  • 12PM – 1 PM: Lunch at Schlieren
  • 1 PM – 2 PM: Transfer from Schlieren to Takeda’s offices
  • 2 PM – 4 PM: Visit to the regional HQ of Takeda
  • 5 PM – 8:30 PM: “2nd Be inspired – Drive healthcare innovation with cross-country collaboration” at the offices of VISCHER in Zurich - An exclusive event for CEOs, executives, investors and ecosystem builders from Norway and Switzerland
  • Intro into the dynamic and growing Norwegian life sciences and healthcare ecosystem
  • 3 x Norwegian company pitches of 3 minutes (2 biotechs and 1 medtech)
  • Keynote by LONZA: Drug discovery and development fuelled by enabling technologies
  • Panel discussion: Opportunities and challenges of AI in drug discovery and development
  • Networking Apero

The market visit is limited to a delegation of 10 participants representing the growing and vibrant Norwegian life sciences ecosystem. Participants representing Norwegian SMEs and particularly biotechs will be prioritized.

Participation is free. However, pre-registration is required. For registration, go HERE. Registration deadline is 2nd of March, alternatively when the delegation is filled up.
