Geir Hetland has a Bachelor degree in Finance from Lund University in Sweden. He brings 30 years of experience from the life science industry ranging from global companies to start-ups.

He worked 15 years for Astra/AstraZeneca both as CFO in Norway and as European Business Director supporting the 7 largest European countries with base in Brussel. He currently works for Thermo Fisher Scientific as CFO in Norway, but have recently been working at their Group headquarter in California heading up their finance function for their Sample Prep Business Unit.
