Renée Christine Amundsen brings 25 years of international leadership experience from the pharmaceutical and life science industry, ranging from global corporations to clinical-stage biotech.

She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Lytix Biopharma, a clinical-stage oncology company listed on Euronext Growth Oslo. Prior to this, she spent several years as Corporate Vice President at Novo Nordisk's headquarters in Denmark, with global responsibility for the commercial strategy of the diabetes portfolio. Before Novo Nordisk, she held several senior roles over nearly a decade at Merck KGaA, including Vice President of Global Business Innovation at the group headquarters in Germany, Head of Nordics and Netherlands, and General Manager of Merck in Norway. Earlier in her career she held commercial leadership roles within oncology, immunology, and specialty care at Abbott/AbbVie, Sanofi-Aventis, and GSK.

She also brings extensive board experience. She currently serves as Chairman of Klyv Therapeutics and as a board member of Interimleder and Nordic Brain Tech. Her previous board roles include Link Medical (CRO), Nomvec, and LMI (the Norwegian Pharmaceutical Industry Association).
